Freeman manufacturing plant change name; looks to expand..

Wildcat Manufacturing in Freeman will be changing its name, and expanding its output.

The plant will now feature the name of its owner as it becomes Vermeer Freeman Manufacturing.

Vermeer vice president for environmental services Mike Byrum says it is part of their long range plan……

Byrum says they plan to add some new products to the manufacturing line in Freeman…

Byrum says with those new products, they will look to add more employees to the plant……

Vermeer produces construction and ag equipment, and is based in Pella Iowa.
