Former Iowa State Cyclones football player Jason Berryman is dead. KTBS in Shreveport, Louisiana reports Berryman was found murdered in his Jefferson, Texas home by his friends and family on Wednesday. Jefferson is about two and a half hours east of Dallas by car and just under an hour northwest of Shreveport. Berryman was the team’s MVP and the Big 12 Defensive Freshman of the Year in 2003. He was 28-years-old.
