Iowa head coach Kirk Ferentz is being called one of college football’s five worst coaches by “Sports Illustrated.” In an article written by Stewart Mandel, Ferentz landed on a list along with fellow Big Ten coach Tim Beckman of Illinois. Eastern Michigan’s Ron English, USC’s Lane Kiffin and Kansas’ Charlie Weis were also on the list. Mandel’s top coach was Nick Saban of two-time defending national champion Alabama.
