Farm Bureau Policy Advisor Sees Markup On WRDA Bill

Farm Bureau Policy Advisor Sees Markup On WRDA Bill

Congress may deal with some big ticket ag items this week when they return to Washington.  American Farm Bureau Director of Public Policy Mary Kay Thatcher says there is a chance for House committee markup on the Water Resources Development Act or WRDA.

She says the House will continue to work on an Immigration Reform Bill, but may have less success in getting passage like the Senate did.

Thatcher says there is an outside chance for work on the farm bill in the House, but she is skeptical about any progress.
