Farm Bureau Leader Excited About Dakota Fest

IDEA Ag owned by the American Farm Bureau Federation has purchased Dakota Fest which opens today on the Schalffman farm near Mitchell. South Dakota Farm Bureau President Scott Vanderwal says his group is excited to have their parent group running the show and is expecting an excellent turnout this year for the three day event.

Vanderwal says AFBF President Bob Stallman will be at Dakota Fest today and will be speaking at the Pavillion.

IDEA Ag now runs Dakota Fest, Farm Fest, two other farm shows, two publications and a technical conference.   Dakota Fest runs today, Wednesday and Thursday starting at 9 each day and concluding at 5 today and Wednesday and at 4 on Thursday.
