Farm Bill, RFS, COOL And Markets Key Issues For Fly In Participants

National Farmers Union is hosting its fly in this week in the nation’s capital. Nebraska’s Farmers Union delegation consists of nine individuals and President John Hansen says their top priority is pushing Congress to get their work done and pass a five year farm bill. He says they’ll be presenting a petition gathered at last week’s Nebraska State Fair calling for that passage.

Hansen says their other top issues range from biofuels to labeling to reforms of markets.

The Fly In runs today through Wednesday with farmers Union members meeting with lawmakers on the Hill and federal ag officials.
