Extending the Debt Ceiling

It appears that Congress will not have to make a decision on extending the debt ceiling for a while. South Dakota Senator John Thune says both Houses of Congress will be working on their own budget plans in the meantime. Thune says the delay in a debt limit decision won’t do much to close the expanding deficit gap.

Congress is off this week for the Memorial Day break.
