Debt Limit Debate To Return to DC; SD Senator John Thune Says Time for Concessions

When Congress returns to Washington next month, they will have to again jump into the debt limit debate.

When Congress passed the continuing appropriations bill in October, it extended the debt ceiling into February.

South Dakota Senator John Thune says that may not be a hard deadline……

Thune says republicans want to work some spending reductions into any debt ceiling extension……

Thune says they may ask for some other concessions in any negotiations……….

The Obama Administration has said they will not negotiate over extending the debt limit.
