Cyclones Lose Late

Iowa State had Texas on the ropes late in the fourth quarter, but a one-yard TD run by Case McCoy with 51 seconds left gave the Longhorns a 31-30 win over the Cyclones.  Sam Richardson was intercepted as the Cyclones were trying to mount a drive with under a minute left to play.  Richardson ended 16-of-26 with 262 yards and two touchdowns in the loss.  Aaron Wimberly rushed 29 times for 117 yards and a score for Iowa State, which dipped to 1-and-3.  He added 23 yards and a receiving touchdown.  I-State plays Texas Tech next week.
