The widespread storm that whipped through Nebraska, South Dakota and Iowa Friday did not only tornado damage to the town of Wayne, Nebraska but also caused crop damage. Brian Bowers is a crop insurance agent with State National Insurance in Wayne. He says corn was impacted the most by the storm.
Bowers says growers will want to record their losses.
He says total damage and payout information won’t be known until after harvest or about 30 days from now.
