Coyote Earns Summit Honor

South Dakota guard Tia Hemiller was named the Summit League Women’s Basketball Player of the Week on Monday in a league release.  It’s the first time she’s received the honor.

Hemiller (Watertown, S.D./HS) averaged 14 points, seven rebounds and four assists while shooting 48 percent in last week’s wins over Valparaiso and Cleveland State.  She also recorded her first collegiate double-double on Saturday with 13 points and 10 rebounds against Cleveland State.
