County Commissioner To Resign

Yankton County Commissioner Mark Johnson said at the end of this week’s meeting that he will resign, effective at the end of the year. He said he will be joining Trans Canada in a community and government relations position…


Johnson said he has enjoyed his time on the commission, and thought they moved the county forward…


Johnson served on the commission for nine years.

He says he will be working with local governments and agencies along and near the route of the proposed Keystone XL oil pipeline…
