Championships Coming To Sioux Falls

National championship events for NCAA Division II are coming to Sioux Falls and its new facilities.

The NCAA has awarded the 2016 Men’s and Women’s Cross
Country Central Region Championships and the Super Region 3 Wrestling
Championships to the city of Sioux Falls and Augustana College.

The NCAA also announced that the city of Sioux Falls, the Sioux Falls Sports Authority and the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference will host eight national championships from 2014-18.

The city of Sioux
Falls, Sioux Falls Sports Authority and the NSIC will host the following
championships:

Men’s Basketball – 2017 and 2018 – Sanford Pentagon

Women’s Basketball – 2015, 2016 and 2018 – Sanford Pentagon

Women’s Volleyball – 2016 – Sanford Pentagon

Wrestling – 2016 – Denny Sanford Premier Center.
