Augie Tracksters Earn Honors

Augustana’s Travis Beniak, Henrik Holmberg, Aaron Jung, and Runa Falch earned All-America honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) .

Beniak earned All-America honors at the NCAA Championships last week with a fourth-place finish in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. Holmberg delivered a seventh place finish in the 3,000-meter steeplechase to earn All-America honors from the USTFCCCA.

Jung hit a personal-best and broke his own school record at the NCAA Championships, finishing eighth in the shot put to earn All-America honors.

Runa Falch clocked a 36:12.52 in the 10k to finish second overall, earning All-America honors at the NCAA Championships.

USTFCCCA All-America honors are awarded to those who earn any portion of a team point at the NCAA Championships.
