Applying For Water Treatment Funds

The Yankton City Commission will be asked at their meeting tonight (Monday) to authorize an application for a loan from the state revolving fund. City Manager Amy Nelson……

Nelson says the loan application is for twenty nine million dollars. She says the first part will be for the proposed collector well at Paddle Wheel Point near the Missouri River……

The commission has been in discussion on building a new water treatment plant and adjusting water rates to pay for that project.
