The Yankton City Commission will be asked to consider an extensive update to animal control laws. City Manager Amy Nelson says a lot has changed over the years in animal ownership, and the current city ordinance is outdated…

Nelson says they have come up with an extensive outline, and want to gauge the commissions interest…

Nelson says they may need some outside expertise in coming up with new guidelines…

The commission meets Monday, 7pm at the RTEC building.
