American Farm Bureau Buys Cygnus

The American Farm Bureau announced Monday they’ve purchased Cygnus Business ag media events and publications.  This includes Dakotafest in Mitchell, South Dakota and Farmfest in Redwood County, Minnesota.   Marketing Director Samantha Kaplan says they’re excited about the partnership and expect operations to be business as usual.

The announcement of the acquisition comes one day before Farmfest is set to begin in Minnesota, but Kaplan says they’re focus is on the show.

The acquisition also includes the IDEAg Interconnectivity Conference. The business also publishes Feed & Grain Magazine and Case IH’s Farm Forum magazine.
