Ag Land Assessment Still A Work in Progress

The Ag Land Assessment Committee of the South Dakota legislature meets today in Pierre. Committee member, Senator Jason Frerichs of Wilmot says they will have to get all the committee members up to date……

Frerichs says the new system, which bases ag property taxes on the productivity of the land, is still a work in progress……

Frerichs says committee members are keeping an eye on residential and commercial assessments in comparison to ag land……
