Rocky Mountains & Grand Canyons Trip!

This is a 12-day, 11 night trip that takes you through 8 states.  Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, Nebraska and South Dakota.

The itinerary:

July 30 — Yankton to Denver
July 31 — Denver to Colorado Springs; ride the cog railway to the top of Pikes Peak.

August 1 – Colorado Springs to Royal Gorge (Grand re-opening expected by date); travel to Durango
August 2 — A day in Durango; Ride the train to Silverton or White Water Rafting

August 3 — Durango to Flagstaff, AZ; stop at Four Corners; evening in historic downtown
August 4 — Visit Grand Canyon w/step-on guide

August 5 — Travel to Las Vegas; Hoover Dam
August 6 — Day on your own in Las Vegas
August 7 — Travel to Salt Lake City; late afternoon/evening tour of city
August 8 — Travel to Casper, WY
August 9 — Travel to/visit Mt. Rushmore
August 10 — Visit Crazy Horse; then travel home
