On July 19, 2014 the Northwest Iowa American Legion Riders (ALR) will be holding the annual George O. Spain Jr. Memorial Healing Run.  The George O. Spain Jr. Memorial Healing Run is the Northwest Iowa American Legion Riders (ALR) main fundraiser in the summer months.  We figure we want to find ways to help veterans and their families in our area, so we may as well have fun doing it!  In a nutshell, we hold a poker-style motorcycle run the third Saturday of every July.

11 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 19, 2014, at Midwest Cycle (Honda, Suzuki, Kubota) at 2142 N. US Hwy. 75, Sioux City Iowa

Leave Midwest Cycle at your leisure stopping at Doosky’s in Kingsley, Double D in Alton, Billy Bobs in Ireton, Hummers in Westfield, The Legion in Le Mars, ending at the Ickey Nickel in Sioux City. Get to the Ickey Nickel by 5pm to be eligible for prizes and a free meal will be served.
