The Yankton Transfer & Recycling Center will be holding a Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event on Saturday, October 26, 2013 from

9 am to 1 pm. The cost per vehicle is $10. All city residents and area residents are asked to please do their recycling during the week this week or next week as the recycling area will be closed Saturday due to this event. All other Transfer station business will be conducted as usual. Everyone attending the event is reminded to stay in their vehicles and to have their household hazardous waste items sorted to keep the lines moving quickly.
