The Sioux City Lions Club (SCLC) is accepting applications from tax exempt organizations for SCLC Charity Grants.  Priorities will be given to sight and hearing services; survival essentials, such as shelter, food, and clothing; diabetes awareness and education; and services for community, youth, health and the environment. The maximum amount for each grant is $3,000. Request a grant application and criteria at scnoonlions@hotmail.com or send a stamped, self-addressed envelope to Ann Hill, Treasurer, Sioux City Lions, P.O. Box 5233, Sioux City, IA 51101. Send completed grant applications to Ann Hill at the address above. Deadline for receiving applications is Oct. 1, 2013.
