Monday, March 7th 2016 - 7:00 pm

515 Walnut Street

The Teen Advisory Board (TAB) of the Yankton Community Library met on February 1 to finalize plans for their special event on Saturday, February 13, from 2-4 p.m., at the library, 515 Walnut Street.  It’s a cake decorating contest with a book related theme!  Participants are challenged to use cake as the basic building material to create a depiction of a book title, character, or scene.  Cake, frosting, and food coloring are provided by the library.  Teens are invited to bring in sketches, photos, and plans for their design, as well as any special decorative materials they may need.  All students in grades 6 through 12 are invited to join us for this fun event.

The next TAB meeting is Monday, March 7, at 7 p.m.  Final plans for Teen Tech Week in March will be discussed, along with plans for the after-hours event during National Library Week in April.  New members for TAB are always welcome.

If you have any questions about TAB or teen activities, please contact Joyce Moore by calling the library at 605-668-5275 or by emailing jmoore@cityofyankton.org.
