YANKTON, S.D. – Work to reconstruct Summit Street in Yankton will begin Monday, May 20, according to the South Dakota Department of Transportation. Crews will be removing and replacing the concrete pavement and installing a new water main on Summit Street between 9th Street and 15th Street in Yankton. Construction also includes sidewalk installation and curb-ramp replacement. Local traffic will be maintained to residences as much as is practical; through traffic will need to find an alternate route The work is expected to be completed by Aug. 16
