Northern Beef Packers Gets Loan from State of South Dakota

South Dakota Governor Mike Rounds has announced the Board of Economic Development has unanimously approved a $5-million Redi-Fund Loan for Northern Beef Packers of Aberdeen.  Rounds says they are optimistic about completing the project with this state support and the recent business reorganization.  The project has been plagued by delays tied to financial difficulties.

Rounds says the loan is important as the plant will process South Dakota Certified Beef and help get that program moving forward soon.
